I was in Guatemala last month along with several team members. While there, we were able to minister in orphanages and schools and meet with students now training to plant churches throughout Guatemala and into other areas of Central America.
You know, it is infectious when you get around people who are so in love with Christ that they have forsaken all to follow Him and to proclaim His Word to the people of their villages and hometowns.
Faith Partners, I wish that you could all visit the Jerry Falwell Center for Ministry Training to experience the electricity and excitement that flows through the facility. The students are longing to graduate and return to the places God has called them to. They have an unquenchable desire to reach people with the Gospel.
One of the great highlights of the trip was worshiping with the beautiful people of Pueblo Del Rio in a church that you helped us plant, Faith Partners. The pastor of the church attended our center for ministry training and the congregation is growing and reaching out to others in the community. In partnership with our Liberty Church Network, we now have similar churches sprinkled across the nation. What a blessing it was to study God’s Word, pray and fellowship with these people who love God and seek to please Him with their lives.
We believe that the key for Guatemala and all nations is reaching children and young people for Christ so that we can see a wave of revival sweep over new generations. Please continue to pray for this ongoing effort.
