Do you ever look at our nation and feel a sense of discouragement?
Maybe you see the unrest that seems to be breaking out more and more. Or maybe you hear the false teachings that are occurring. Or maybe you think that the church is losing the battle for the heart of the nation.
All these things are certainly disconcerting. But I have a message for you.
It is this: God wants you to be of good cheer and to be strong in your faith!
Yes, man tends to mess up everything, especially when we forget God and begin to think ourselves to be something special.
In the book of Jude, we see that mocking God is nothing new. Jude reminds us that God will take care of such individuals. In the meantime, we must continue to honor God through our lives of prayer, service and Christian witness.
Let’s close with an amazing and encouraging verse to keep us focused on the right things (Joshua 1:9, KJV).
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
