Integrity is a critical part of the Christian life. But it is also a difficult thing because we have a nature that sometimes wants us to take the easy path of compromise.
In fact, the only real way to live a life of integrity is by constantly living as a servant to the Lord Jesus. Otherwise, we will become victims of our own desires.
The great thing is that our Lord understands that we are weak without Him. That’s why Hebrews 4:15 is such a wonderful verse: “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”
Jesus took on the likeness of sinful flesh, but knew no sin (Romans 8:3). Yet, He is compassionate towards we who struggle with sin and – this is the great part – empowers us to live vibrant, confident lives in Him.
Integrity is something I have strived for in my life and in this ministry. But I know that I need my friends praying for me and, most of all, I need Christ guiding me every step of the way.
May God be magnified in all that we do! Please continue to keep me and our ministry in your prayers.
Your friend in Christ,
